Organic Tava Tea Researches - The Ingredient of Green Sencha Health Benefits - Immune system

Written by Chanel M. contributed by Kyle J. Norton, All right reserve

Sencha
is a type of decoct Japanese green tea, most popular tea in Japan, made from the dried tea leaves without grinding the tea leaves. It volatile compounds could be used as markers for the overall quality evaluation of all green teas, according to the study of "Predication of Japanese green tea (Sen-cha) ranking by volatile profiling using gas chromatography mass spectrometry and multivariate analysis" by Jumtee K, Komura H, Bamba T, Fukusaki E.[1].

Health Benefits of Green Sencha
14. Immune system
a. In the investigation of the immunomodulatory effects of decaffeinated green tea extract in rain bow of the study of "Immunomodulatory effects of decaffeinated green tea (Camellia sinensis) on the immune system of rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss)" by Sheikhzadeh N, Nofouzi K, Delazar A, Oushani AK.[14a], researchers found that showed that decaffeinated green tea in lower doses of administration could be optimum to enhance the immunity of rainbow trout.

b. In the assessment of unregulated activity of these receptors could lead to autoimmune diseases and the effects of green tea catechin, epigallocatechin gallate of the study of "Green tea catechin, epigallocatechin gallate, suppresses signaling by the dsRNA innate immune receptor RIG-I." by Ranjith-Kumar CT, Lai Y, Sarisky RT, Cheng Kao C.[14b], researchers found that EGCG and its derivatives could have potential therapeutic use as a modulator of RIG-I mediated immune responses by binding RIG-I and inhibits its signaling at low micromolar concentrations in HEK293T cells

c. In the evaluation of Effect of diet enriched with green tea at 0, 0.01, 0.1 or 1.0% levels on immune responses of the study of "Influence of diet enriched with green tea on innate humoral and cellular immune response of kelp grouper (Epinephelus bruneus) to Vibrio carchariae infection" by Harikrishnan R, Balasundaram C, Heo MS.[14c], researchers found that dietary administration of green tea supplementation at a concentration of 0.01 and 0.1% level positively enhances the non-specific humoral and cellular immune responses and disease resistance of kelp grouper E. bruneus to V. carchariae.

d. In the determination the effects of polyphenols effects in immune function of the study of "Soybean and green tea polyphenols improve immune function and redox status in very old ovariectomized mice" by Baeza I, De Castro NM, Arranz L, De la Fuente M.[14d], researchers wrote that the immune system is a good marker of health and a predictor of longevity, we suggest that an adequate nutritional treatment with polyphenols could be a highly recommended tool to fight against the detrimental effects of the lack of female sex hormones, through an improvement of the immune cell functions and redox state.
